The specify historic district of Irvington in Northeast Portland is the setting for this 1910 craftsman home listed on the National Register of Historic Places . A lush garden exist on the grand corner band , with northwestern United States native and basalt stonework paths and walls throughout . The proprietor , an avid gardener and historic partisan , commission a new service department and studio on the northeasterly niche of the situation and want to utilize the rooftop and incorporate it into the relaxation of the garden .
