Myred wagonsurvived another year of haul anything and everything around the farm . It ’s getting up there in years , and I had to rebuild one side last class , but it ’s still kick ( er , pealing ) and just did a capital jobtransporting compost for new garden bed .

3. My Orchard Fences

Iconstructed these fencesto guard my new apple and plum tree tree from hungry deer , and they have done their job so far , keeping the young trees secure from injury despite the astonishing number of deer in my arena . finger hybridise that the fences prove just as effective over the winter .

4. My 35-Gallon Leg Tank

I buy this35 - gallon leg tankto water my young yield tree , and it worked intimately than I ever could have imagined . It dramatically simplified the process of keeping the Tree hydrated .

5. Old Tools I Didn’t Buy

I resist the urge to bring homea bunch of old toolsthat I see while shop at a fun three - taradiddle emporium . There were many different kinds , and they all had a great “ patina ” ( a fancy means of saying they had that hoary , faded wait so distinctive of old , well - used tool ) , but while they were fun to look at , I really did n’t need them .

6. Snap Ring Pliers

I realise before wastingtoomuch time that I postulate a pecker called “ snap ring pliers ” to remove the snap ringing that keeps the front wheels of my lawn mower in space . Suffice it to say , having the proper tool made the line a whole lot simpler .

7. Noise Reduction Ear Muffs

Noise reduction ear muffsexist ! What would we do without them ? Even a lawn tractor can be unpleasantly loud to apply for recollective period of prison term , sohearing protectionis a must .

8. Pruning Loppers

I handle to remove several Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree stump from the groundusing nothing but rationalise loppers and my own strength . My arrangement act upon perfectly , did n’t leave behind a hole , and it left the ground in perfect condition for mowing .
