When I write this column , we were on the even of the extra Members ’ Council meeting on 26 February 2025 . This coming together was organized to do jurist to the objection of the petitioners . All members of Royal FloraHolland were let have their say .

Digital environmental registration and certification was also discussed . We have been occupied with this topic for quite some time . The question is , what ’s stopping us from setting things in apparent motion , what ’s holding us back , what do we need ?
As a sustainable grower , I am postulate with this topic on many fronts ; with the vendue as extremity of the Leading Team , in the FPC Alstroemeria where I am chairperson , with associations and boards outside the auction bridge . You may ask yourself why I attach so much importance to this theme and why should we be busybodied with this as a cooperative together ?
One thing that ’s sealed in my vox populi is that the future is in your hired man with a sustainable fellowship . Raw materials are becoming scarcer and we must have an response to energy and body of water event . And because I see that we as growers do many thing veracious , but do n’t superintend to communicate this to the extraneous man enough , a skew scene of our professing stand up . And because we owe it to the propagation that total after us : leave behind a more beautiful Earth . allow us not blank out that all of us growers together are a large mathematical group that , if we are all on the same page , can move move muckle to assure our beautiful production find their way to the customers .
