Clearing the clutter and touching up paint in the She shed cottage studio.
This is week two of the $ 100 Room Challenge . This hebdomad I focused on clearing out the welter that was heap on the floor and strip around the sink area where I rinse my brushes after each house painting session .
I wanted to portion out my Mood board for this space . I am new at this sort of matter but it does facilitate as far keeping me focussed .
Though when you just brush up the pic and picture here you really do n’t see the onward motion . Butwhen you equate it to last workweek when I first startedyou gain more perspective of how much headway I have made .

You can check out week one here
To get started I settle to tackle the area to the right of the doors first and influence my way around the room .
Sink area refreshed
The sink area is utilization every time I paint and it was littered with brushes and cleaners stacked around it .
I removed the clutter and painted the base . The top is slate and I wo n’t be able-bodied to remove the pigment stick around to it unless I take some dissolvent , if and when I do that it will be when I can have the windows open for new aviation .
Until then it will stay on paint splatter .

I repaint the wall around the swallow hole that had paint sputtering on it .
Next I cleaned out underneath ( found where all the spider are getting in and plug it ) and I am think some curt curtains on bound rods to hide what is store under the swallow hole . This is where I keep my dustpanful , extra paint sticks and other cleaning supplies .
Create storage
I priced shelf brackets then decided to construct a countrified crate / box I am going to turn into a shelf to set above the sink .

I used fencing boards I had on hand . They are cockeyed and not uniform in size but the boxwood come together beautifully in less than 30 transactions . Once it is paint and on the wall you will never experience it is not engineer to perfection .

See the paper towel holder behind the crateful ? That is what will posture on top of the shelf above the cesspool .
In the video I show you what coloring I am paint this box .
Cleared clutter
tardily I am getting detail put up . The most dramatic chore done this week was getting spate of welter off the flooring so I can move around more freely to put things where they go .
Rethinking furniture
The paint shelf on the wall I am debating about . you could see how I bult that in the past post .
These are paints I do n’t use often and I should put them in a box somewhere else and this desk beneath it may be relocate too .
I had thought to apply it as my main painting table but it just was n’t what I take and I repair to going back to my thrift store mesa in the center of the elbow room . Now this desk has just become a catch all .

The Word of God case on the back wall is majuscule store but tends to look littered . I have a couple options in brain .
One is to build more agrestic crates / box to hold what is on the shelves , in effect disguising them . That will go far it make it look tidier and/or I can put up a pretty curtain over it .
Oh , yes , those boob luminousness need to go ! This part is the underneath of the loft and I cringe every meter I see these lights .

So that is my progress so far and even if the modification does n’t translate well in photo I can really secern I have made headroom . The video gives you a better overview and is about 5 minute long so check it out for more .
