Sempervivum heuffelii , formerly known asJovibarba heuffelii , is a small succulent that forms rosettes of glum unripened to glaucous leaves , often red or brownish at the confidential information and sometimes with white margins . The rosettes can farm up to 4.8 inches ( 12 centimeter ) in diameter and produce legion offsets . The leaves are thick , fleshy , and point , with stiff cilia along the margins and a short spine at the tips . They can reach up to 2.4 inches ( 6 centimetre ) in distance and 0.6 inches ( 1.5 centimetre ) in width .
The inflorescence stalk is erect and can give up to 8 inch ( 20 cm ) . It contain a cluster of up to 40 white to yellowish flower . Each rosette blossom only once and snuff it after flowering .

Sempervivums are not difficult to maturate , furnish they are not waterlogged and kill from excess watering .
