Using flowers to help get through a difficult time
Today , Dave Barkley is sharing some images of beautiful flowers that are helping him and his wife get through a very hard time . They say laughter is the good medication , but I ’m pretty sure rosiness are at least as good .
We inhabit in a townhouse in South Riding , Virginia , just west of Dulles International Airport and east of Middleburg , which is sawhorse country .
This year I started growing roses in two modest raised bed to give my married woman an excited raise . She has metastatic breast cancer , and each day I bring her a rose with her breakfast or lunch .

The picture are of our garden , and the rose wine are from David Austin ’s fragrant collection .
A perfect little bud , full of promise of the fragrant beauty to come in .
A rich ruby-red rose wine , falling open to reveal the bright gold stamen in the heart and soul of the prime .

A persuasion of the bring up bed rose garden . This is a unspoilt reminder that you do n’t call for acres and demesne to have a garden . Even a little blank can be filled with beautiful pink wine or other flowers .

This delicate rose has level upon level of delicate petals .
