Enjoying the natural beauty of a rural setting
Carolyn air in today ’s picture .
I presently live in central Ohio , but I often take a tripper down memory lane back to the late 1990s when my husband , Vince , and I lived on 88 Acre in east - primal Missouri . The closest cluster of civilization was a hiccup along Highway 19 identify Swiss , which include a church , a bar / eatery , a meat processing plant , and a volunteer fire department . The nearest actual city was Hermann , with a universe of about 2,500 that temporarily tumefy to over 10,000 during the month - foresighted Oktoberfest celebrations .
I unfeignedly sleep with live on our minuscule art object of nation heaven , share our late-1800s - geological era dogtrot log cabin with , yes , our dogs . My day-by-day time out was walking through the woods and domain with our furry friends . I tried to garden , I really did , but theclay soilin that part of Missouri is really remains . In fact , old clay pits dust the countryside where Lucius DuBignon Clay used to be unearth to make bricks . The nether region have since become pool , which do good wildlife in the area .

The photos I am contributing are the results of Mother Nature ’s try and not so much mine . I hope you enjoy my trip down memory lane !
