Next , onto Bakersville in Mansfield , Missouri where we had a tasty vegan lunch at the Baker Creek Restaurant , then a tour of the garden and facility with first-class , well - inform and lovely tour template Jamie Jackson . The day was perfect and we enjoyed wandering around the gardens and amazing seed fund . I found the facility where the automatize publicity of seed order from choosing the seed to dropping them in bins , pick out the right size envelope , creating an invoice and packing list , labeling and dropping the finished computer software into mailing bins dead awing ( not only telling – rather mind - boggling ) . This state - of - the - art organisation was design and work up by staffmembers , led by David Winters ( whom we met and he appear to be a normal fellow – his brilliance lies beneath the aerofoil ) .

While we were at Baker Creek , we met up with supporter and herbalist , Sasha Daucus . She get together us on our visit to Sweetwater Community Land Trust , where we enjoyed a walk with her to look at Ozark herbs that live in a forest context . There , we visited resident physician and potter , Susan Minyard , in her studio . Many of us hold up home with some of Susan ’s Sweetwater Pottery . We had a picnic dinner , served in course on the heap ride home .

Our next two days , were filled with wonderful speakers presenting great broadcast ( you’re able to go online towww.iherb.orgto see schedule ) . And lots of young and exciting book of account to purchase and have signed by the source and all sorts of herbal goodies to buy . We also had a sojourn to Gravity Brewworks where we love local craft brew with Tommy ’s famed pizza and live euphony .
