Anthurium , belonging to theAraceaefamily is a crop of commercial-grade grandness in India and many other countries . It is cultivated for its beautiful cut flowers , cut foliage and as a potted industrial plant . Twenty samples comprising either leaf or spathe were collected indiscriminately from symptomatic plant and tested along with buffer and healthy plant controls for the presence of serogroup IV tospoviruses using polyclonal antibodies put up againstGroundnut bud necrosisvirus ( GBNV ) ( reported to discover all serogroup IV orthotospoviruses ( Mandal & Jain , 2010 ) ) by DAC - ELISA .
