1.Cut two polystyrene boards in a circle the size of it you want your groundwork , and paste together . Smaller garden ( less than 30″ diameter ) may only require a single sheet of polystyrene for the bottom .
2.Cut the other two sheets into a circular flange about 2 ” wide to create the side wall .
3.Glue the side wall together , then paste the side walls to the top of the base .
4.Drill 4 equally spaced “ weep ” holes in the English ( not in the base ) to allow water to escape when it rains .
5.Spray paint the floater smutty . Be certain to expend urine - based rouge !
6.Cut a 1″ diameter hole in the bottom of the planter . Cut a man of hairlike matting and line the bottom of the disk — be certain to also cut out a 1″ diam fix through this matte .
7.Cut a 1″ wide striptease of capillary matting and insert it through the mess in the bottom of the disc to act as a pee wick . Lay the strip across the bottom of the flatness , and allow 8 – 10″ to attend below the vagabond into the water .
