Small beds produce so much abundance in this spring garden in the desert
Hi GPODers !

Dawn Fountain first start out sharing her southwestern garden with the blog before this year ( see her old submission here : Dawn ’s Backyard Garden in ArizonaandIndoor raise in Arizona ) . Despite her desert mood , Dawn has a fat kitchen garden and pairs her edible beds with vivacious flowers . Today we ’re drive an update on how things are mature this spring .
Its going to start draw into the 100 + degree temps – but my garden is just loving it !

I am getting my cactus efflorescence , which I did n’t get last year . Must be a happy cactus this year . ( ? lol )
My sunflowers , the birdie are loving them but so am I. I can see them from my dining room window .
I have Blueberries , blackberries and strawberry in my main garden . I am redeem all them so I can make hole for the State Fair challenger in September . I entered into my county fair in April ( 8 entries ) . Mint infuse love , orchard apple tree butter , herbed staff of life , lavender honey , pickled carrots , pickled beet …… I got 6 first place medallion and 2 second place ribbon .

Dawn ’s blackberry , covered in berries and bloom ! As a northern nurseryman who just lately transplanted seedling into her raised beds , it ’s incredible to see someone already enjoying their harvest this early in the time of year .
My garden is my calm , happy piazza when I have a stressful 24-hour interval . I screw influence out in it and I love when my kinfolk supports it . The good part is when I can grow something that helps feeds my phratry .
My corn whisky is already improbable than me . I have depend over 20 green strawberry mark , and I have already pick 25 this calendar month . I have also numerate at least 20 green tomato . So felicitous ! ! ! ! !

While not everyone is vegetable gardening in a desert climate like Dawn , her garden is a great example of how accessible edible growing can be for anyone . No matter your space or power to grown in - dry land , a freehanded harvest can be produced from small beds and/or container .
