I worked as a “ professional nurseryman ” during the 2008 recession when intent oeuvre was hard to arrive by . I have continued my love for gardening and planting in a new home and have a wonderful wildflowermeadow gardenthat I started in 2022 . It has taken two age for some of these peak to in reality flower but it has been deserving the wait . My property also has some very turgid azaleas .
This Lady Banks rose ( Rosabanksiea‘Lutea ’ , Zones 8–10 ) is covered in flowers after just two years . Lady Banks rose loves hot climate and is an former bloomer , enshroud itself with spate of modest sensationalistic blooms in the spring . secure of all , it is nearly spineless , so it can be used next to a seat area like this without any injury .

Last declination Connie engraft babe blue eyes ( Nemophilamenziesii , annual ) seeds in the ground . This littleannualisnative to the West Coastand develop great when inseminate in the fall in Zone 7 and warm , or in the springtime in stale zone .
Connie is adding more natives to her garden , like this baptisia ( Baptisiaalba , Zones 5–8 ) . Baptisias are very long - survive , durableperennialsbut can take some time to settle in and originate flowering hard . This first blooming is the promise of lots of beauty for years to arrive .
Flowers from the wildflower garden : sweet William ( Dianthusbarbatus , Zones 3–9 ) , native fleabane ( Erigeronannuus , yearly ) , phlox ( Phloxdivaricatus , Zones 3–8 ) , and a stem of columbine ( Aquilegiavulgaris , Zones 3–8 )

Brussels sproutsand Swiss chard bring edible elements to Connie ’s garden . Both grew over the wintertime , as they are quite cold kind .
